4.3.2 Link Aggregation

When you enter the Link Aggregation, you can see these parts (see figure 4-8), such as:
LAG, shows whether the port is part of a LAG.
The Link Aggregation page contains the following fields:
• LAG
• Description
• Administrative
Status
The Flow Control feature of the selected port can be enabled or disabled
Displays whether Flow Control is enabled or disabled on the currently selected port
• Auto - the port to automatically detect the cable type.
• MDI - if the port is connected to an end station.
• MDIX - if the port is connected to a hub or another switch
This is the current MDI/MDIX status of the port
For Gigabit Ethernet switches ONLY. When a port is a Private VLAN Edge (PVE)
port, it bypasses the Forwarding Database and forwards all unicast, multicast, and
broadcast traffic to an uplink. Uplinks can be ports or LAGs.

Indicates the number of the LAG interface. Up to eight LAG interface can be
configured.
Indicates the description of the LAG ports
Up indicates that the port is available and down shows administrator has taken the
port offline. You can click the Save Settings option to save this option.
