5.19.8 rmon event

The rmon event global configuration command configures an event. To remove an event, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
rmon event index type [community text] [description text] [owner name]
no rmon event index
index — The event index. (Range: 1 - 65535)
type — The type of notification that the device generates about this event. Can have the following values: none, log,
trap, log-trap. In the case of log, an entry is made in the log table for each event. In the case of trap, an SNMP trap is
sent to one or more management stations.
community text — If an SNMP trap is to be sent, it is sent to the SNMP community specified by this octet string. (Range:
0-127 characters)
description text — A comment describing this event. (Range: 0-127 characters)
owner name — Enter a name that specifies who configured this event. If unspecified, the name is an empty string.
(Range: 0-127 characters)
