Risk of accident
The vehicle is braked when HOLD is activat-
ed. Therefore, deactivate HOLD before the
vehicle is washed in an automatic car wash.
!
Make sure that the automatic car wash is
suitable for the size of the vehicle. Fold in the ex-
terior mirrors before the vehicle is washed. The
exterior mirrors could otherwise be damaged.
i
After leaving the automatic car wash make
sure that the mirrors are folded out fully. Other-
wise, they could vibrate.
High-pressure cleaners
!
Do not use high-pressure cleaners with
round-spray jets to clean the tyres, as they could
damage them. Replace damaged tyres.
Observe the information issued by the
equipment manufacturer relating to
how much distance should be main-
tained between the vehicle and the
nozzle of the high-pressure cleaner.
Move the high-pressure cleaner nozzle
around when cleaning your vehicle.
!
When doing so, do not point it directly at
door joints, air spring bellows, electrical compo-
