Switching on or off
You can only switch the Nightview system
on if:
the key is in position 1 in the ignition
lock
it is dark
the light switch is set to *
or if the daytime driving lights are
switched on
the transmission is not at R

Press button 1.
The Nightview image is shown in the
driver's display.

The infrared headlamps only switch on when
the vehicle is in motion. It is therefore not possi-
ble to check that the Nightview system is work-
ing correctly when the vehicle is stationary.

Image in the driver's display
When you switch on the Nightview system,
the speed display view changes in the driv-
er's display. The speed display is shown as
a bar at the lower edge of the driver's dis-
play. The row of basic menus is no longer
available. If you wish to change a setting
using the steering wheel buttons, you must
switch off Nightview.

If you change the brightness of the instru-
ment cluster with the Nightview system switched
on, only the brightness of the driver's display is
changed.
