Deleting an entry from the phone book on
the mobile phone using COMAND is not possible
with all mobile phones.
Complete address book entry selected:
The entry is deleted from the COMAND
phone book and also from the address
book, if the address book entry only
contains telephone numbers.
Subentry of an address book entry se-
lected:
The subentry is deleted from the
COMAND phone book and from the
address book.
To delete: select the entry
( page 130).
Select "Options"
A prompt appears asking whether the
entry should be deleted.
Select "Yes" or "No".
If you select "Yes": The entry is deleted
in accordance with the rules described
above.
vCards
One address book entry may contain up to
8 telephone numbers per vCard. If an entry
such as this is then stored in the phone
book on the mobile phone, a separate en-
try for each telephone number in the vCard
will be created in this phone book. Each of
these entries will have the same name and
one of the following distinguishing abbrevi-
ations at end of the name:
pf1 or pf2 = private landline number
1 or 2
pm = private mobile number
pa = private car phone number
gf1 or gf2= business landline number

1 or 2
gm = business mobile number
ga = business car phone number

Select the entry in the phone book on
the mobile phone ( page 130).

All entries with the icon are entries in
the phone book on the mobile phone.
Select "Options" "Save"
entry".
Select a number category, e.g. "Home".
Select a telephone category, e.g.
"Landline telephone number".
Select "Save".
The input menu appears with the data
fields. The data field for the telephone
number is filled in automatically. The
data field for the surname is also filled
in automatically if the entry to be im-
ported contains a name.
