The components and operating principles of
COMAND can be found on ( page 71).
In this menu, you can set the following ve-
hicle functions:
Rear window blind*
Exterior mirror convenience settings*
Easy-entry/exit feature
Exterior lighting delayed switch-off
Interior lighting delayed switch-off
Ambient lighting
Locator lighting
Automatic locking
Interior motion sensor*
Tow-away protection*
Boot lid opening limiter*
Opening or closing the rear window
blind*
You can use this function to open and
close the rear window blind.

You can assign this function to the program-
mable button ( page 180).
Select "Vehicle".

move freely. Otherwise, the blind or other ob-
jects could be damaged.

If you operate the rear window blind using
COMAND or the programmable button, this
takes precedence over the rear-window blind
buttons on the rear doors ( page 251).
Exterior mirror convenience settings
In the "Exterior-mirror convenience setting"
menu, you can switch the following exteri-
or mirror functions on or off:
Folding the exterior mirrors in when
locking
Automatically tilting down the exterior
mirror on the front-passenger side
when reversing
