change the data field" paragraph in the
"Creating an entry in the phone book
on the mobile phone" section
( page 131).
Adding to an existing entry in the ad-
dress book
Select the list entry ( page 124).
Select "Options"
book".

"Save" and "Address book" have no function
if the selected list entry is already stored.
Select a number category, e.g. "Home".
Select a telephone category, e.g.
"Landline telephone number".
Select "Save".
The search menu for address book en-
tries appears.
Search for the desired entry.

There is a detailed description of searching
for an address book entry in the "Searching for
an address book entry" section ( page 170).
Press n when you have finished
searching.
COMAND stores the data if there are
fewer than four numbers assigned to
the entry you are searching for in the
selected number category.
If four numbers are stored for the entry
you are searching for, a prompt will ap-
pear asking whether you wish to over-
write one of the existing numbers.
Select "Yes" or "No".
"Save" "Address
If you select "Yes", a selection list will
appear containing the four existing
numbers.
Select the number to be overwritten.
COMAND overwrites the selected
number with the new data.
Incoming call

To reject: select "Reject".

Once you have accepted the call, you can
conduct your telephone conversation via
the hands-free facility. The call volume can
be adjusted ( page 80). Further operating
functions can be found in the "Functions
during a single call connection" section
( page 126).

You can also accept a call if the
COMAND display is showing a display other than
the telephone mode display. Once you have ac-
cepted the call, the display continues to show
this other display.
To switch the display to telephone
mode: Select "Tel" "Tel"
phone".

Making an outgoing call
