Conference functions

Conference functions are only available if
the telephone service provider supports them
and they are enabled.
You can only operate these functions using
the mobile phone or on the rear handset*
( mobile phone or rear handset* operat-
ing instructions).
Exception: "Ending all calls" ( page 128)
function.
Transferring a call
From the hands-free facility to the
headset and back

The use of a Bluetooth headset requires
Bluetooth to be activated and the headset to be
authorised ( page 181).
The call transfer is controlled by the head-
set ( headset operating instructions).
Once the call has been transferred to the
headset, all the functions will be available
to you which are described in the "Func-
tions during a single call connection" sec-
tion ( page 126).
Exception: "Switching the hands-free mi-
crophone on or off" function ( page 127).
From the hands-free facility to the rear
handset*
The rear handset is inserted in the
bracket: take the rear handset out of
the bracket.
The rear handset is not inserted in
the bracket: press the button for ac-
cepting a call on the rear handset
( handset operating instructions).
In both cases, the "Private call" display
will appear in the COMAND display.
Subsequent operation is only possible
using the handset.

It is not possible to transfer the call back to
the hands-free facility.
From the hands-free facility or the rear
handset to the mobile phone
Take the mobile phone out of the mo-
bile phone bracket.
The "No telephone inserted" display ap-
pears in the COMAND display. Subse-
quent operation is only possible using
the mobile phone.

From the mobile phone to the hands-
free facility
Insert the mobile phone into the mobile
phone bracket.
Once the call has been transferred to
the hands-free facility, all the functions
will be available to you which are de-
scribed in the "Functions during a sin-
gle call connection" section
( page 126).
COMAND phone book
The COMAND phone book contains all ad-
dress book entries that have at least one
telephone number. COMAND also reads
the phone book entries stored in the phone
book on the mobile phone and displays
them in the COMAND phone book.
The COMAND phone book only displays
the address book entry where the entries
stored in the address book and in the
phone book on the mobile phone are the
same.
Calling up the COMAND phone book
Select "Tel"
"Tel"
"Telephone"
"Name".
The COMAND phone book appears.
