Selecting the centre
Select "Centre" in the address input
menu.
If the town you have entered has only
one centre, this is automatically en-
tered in the address input menu.
If the town you have entered has more
than one centre, the centre list ap-
pears.
Select the desired centre.
The address input menu appears again.
The centre is automatically entered.
Entering the street
Select "Street" in the address input
menu.
The street input menu appears.
To enter: proceed as described in the
"Entering characters" section
( page 77).
COMAND navigation system* (entering a destination)
If the road passes through more
than one district: select the desired
district.
The address input menu appears again.
The street is automatically entered.
Entering the junction
Select "Junction" in the address input
menu.
The junction input menu appears.
To enter: proceed as described in the
"Entering characters" section
( page 77).
The address input menu appears again.
The junction is automatically entered.
Entering the house number

The digital map does not contain house
numbers for all streets.
Select "House no." in the address input
menu.
The house number input menu ap-
pears.

Starting the route calculation

You cannot start the route calculation until
all the necessary address data has been en-
tered.
Select "Start" after entering the ad-
dress.
The route calculation will start if route
guidance has not already been activat-
ed.
If route guidance has already been ac-
tivated, a prompt will appear asking
whether you wish to end the current
route guidance.
