Storing the exterior mirror parking
position*
To make it easier to park, you can store the
passenger-side exterior mirror position in
such a way that you can see the rear wheel
on that side as soon as you engage reverse
gear.
You can store one parking position per key
using the memory button.
You will find information about using the
parking position in the "Good visibility"
section ( page 237).

1 To select the right or left-hand exterior
mirror
2 Adjustment button
3 M memory button
Make sure that the vehicle is stationary
and the key is in position 2 in the igni-
tion lock.
Press button 1 repeatedly until the
front-passenger exterior mirror is se-
lected.
Adjust the exterior mirror by pressing
button 2 so that the rear wheel and
the kerb are visible in the mirror.
Press memory button 3.
Press one of the arrows on adjustment
button 2 within three seconds.
The parking position is stored if the
mirror does not move.

If the mirror does move, repeat the steps.
You can adjust the mirror again after storing the
setting.
