• If the driveshaft is stuck to the wheel hub, install

a used locknut so that it is flush with the end of the

shaft, and tap the nut with a plastic hammer.

Installation note

Align the marks and install the driveshaft.

Tightening torque:

54-64 N·m (5.5-6.5 m-kg, 40-47 ft-Ib)

Install a new locknut and stake it.

Tightening torque:

216-294 N·m (22-30 m-kg, 159-217 ft-Ib)
