INTAKE MANIFOLD
Removal
Warning
• Before removal, release the fuel pressure from the
fuel system to reduce the possibility of injury or fire.
(Refer to page F-101.)
1. Remove the throttle body. (Refer to page F-94.)
2_ Remove the air valve
3. Disconnect the vacuum hoses.
4. Remove the accelerator cable.
5_ Disconnect the fuel hoses_
6. Disconnect the connectors from the injectors.
7_ Remove the delivery pipe and injectors_
8. Remove the injector harness.
8. Remove the intake mar ifold bracket.
9_ Remove the intake maaifold_
Installation
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Note
• Use a new mounting gasket.
Tightening torque:
Intake manifold and delivery pipe
19-25 N·m (1.9-2.6 m-kg, 14-19 ft-Ib)
Injector harness and bracket
7.8-11 N·m (80-110 em-kg, 69-95 in-Ib)
