HORN
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Gasoline is extremely flammable and is explosive
under certain conditions. Work in a well ventilated
area. Smoking or allowing flames or sparks in the
work area or where the gasoline is stored can
cause a fire or explosion.
Remove the fuel tank (page 2-3).
Remove the fuel reserve sensor from the fuel tank.
Install a new 0-ring into the sensor groove properly
and install the reserve sensor, and tighten it.
TORQUE : 23 N·m (2.3 kQf·m, 17 I bf.ft)
Check for leakage from the reserve sensor.
Install the fuel tank (page 2-3).
Disconnect the wire connectors from the horn.
Connect a 12 V battery to the horn terminals.
The horn is normal if it sounds when the 12 V
battery is connected across the horn terminals.
