FRAME/BODY PANELS/EXHAUST SYSTEM
SEAT
REMOVAL
Unlock the seat with the ignition key.
Pull the seat back and remove it.
INSTALLATION
Install the seat by inserting the prong into the
retainer on the fuel tank and the hooks into the
catches on the frame.
Push the seat forward, then down to lock it.
SEAT COWL

Remove the seat.
Remove the two ooeket bolto.
Remove the two screws.
Remove the two trim clips.
Disconnect the taillight connectors.
Pull the seat cowl back out of the frame while
opening the front portion of it.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
Make sure that the mating surfaces of the cowl
bottom are seated onto the rear fender properly
before tightening the fasteners.
TORQUE: Screw:
2 N·m (0.2 kgf·m , 1.4 lbf·ft)
