Apply engine oil to the cylinder wall, piston and pis-
ton rings.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage the piston rings and the
cylinder wall by the connecting rod.
Install the connecting rod/piston from the top of the
cylinder with the "IN" mark toward the intake side,
using a commercially available piston ring com-
pressor tool.
Install the crankshaft {page 12-5).
