3. TROUBLESHOOTING

3.1 LOOSE CONNECTION

The table below lists some possible symptoms that can be caused by loose
connections on the duplex controller board.
Symptom
The operation panel shows that the printer
started to warm up. But the printer does not
become "Ready."
The printer does simplex printing when you
have set duplex printing from the printer
driver.
A paper jam occurs when the trailing edge is
near paper sensor 1.
A paper jam occurs when the trailing edge is
near paper sensor 2.
A paper jam occurs when the leading edge
is near the entrance roller.

Possible Cause
One of the following connectors is not
connected: CN101, CN103, CN108, CN109.
Connector CN100 is not connected.
Connector CN106 is not connected.
Connector CN107 is not connected.
Connector CN102 is not connected.
