6. Press the Enter key. The message "Execute?" is displayed.
7. Press the Enter key. The color calibration test sheet [A] is output. (The
message "Processing" is displayed.)
8. When completed, make certain that the message "Execute OK" is displayed.
9. Press the Escape key [C] two times. The SP name "PrnColorSheet" is shown.
10. Press the down-arrow key. The SP name "ToneCtlValue" is displayed.
11. Press the Enter key. Service SP1-104-001 (Set Black 1) is shown.
12. To select a color range (1-15), press the up-arrow key or the down-arrow key.
For example, the color range Black 1 (Set Black 1) is the color density range
around Current Value 16 on the Black Current Value scale on the Color
Calibration Test Sheet. The color range Black 2 (Set Black 2) is the range
around Default Value 32 on the Color Calibration Test Sheet. For more details,
refer the table below.

NOTE: The Color Calibration Test Sheet, illustrates the color or black density
gradations of a selected print mode over a range comprised of 15
range settings where each range can be set to a density level of from 0
to 255. The "Default Value" gradation scale shows the factory default
settings. The numerical values shown on the scale are the default
density levels (0-255) as entered for each range (1-15 shown as 16 to
240 on the scale). The "Current Value" gradation scale illustrates the
current density settings. The gradation pattern shown on the scale will
change as the settings in SP1-104 are changed. The "Default Value"
gradation scale does not change.
13. Press the Enter key. The current setting is shown for Current Value 16. This
may also be the "Default Value" if the setting has never been altered.
NOTE: This setting is the density of the black range shown on the Color
Calibration Test Sheet at Value 16 on the Black "Current Value"
gradation scale.
14. Set a value.
• To move the cursor, press the up-arrow key or the down-arrow key.
• To select one of the digits, press the Enter key.
• To change the value, push the up-arrow key or the down-arrow key.
• To set a digit, press the Enter key.
• Repeat for each digit.
NOTE: Maximum density value for each is 255. The minimum is 0.
