Configuring the Trunk Group Settings
The Trunk Group Settings Table is used to determine the method in which new calls are assigned
to B-channels within each trunk group. If such a rule doesn't exist (for a specific Trunk group), the
global rule, defined by the Channel Select Mode parameter (Protocol Definition > General
Parameters), applies.
To configure the Trunk Group Settings table, take these 7 steps:
Open the 'Trunk Group Settings' screen (Protocol Management menu > Trunk Group

In the Routing Index drop-down list, select the range of entries that you want to edit (up to

24 entries can be configured).
In the Trunk Group ID field, enter the Trunk Group ID number.

In the Channel Select Mode drop-down list, select the Channel Select Mode that

determines the method in which new calls are assigned to B-channels within the Trunk
groups entered in the field to the right of this field. For information on available Channel
Select Modes, refer to
Repeat steps 4 and 5, for each defined Trunk group.

Click the Submit button to save your changes.
