Paper Feed Mechanism

This mechanism consists of the paper feed mechanism and the platen-open mechanism.
Paper feed mechanism
The paper feed mechanism consists of the platen (paper feed roller) and the thermal head.
When the motor, paper feed, receipt, B rotates counterclockwise as viewed from the shaft,
the gear train transmits the motion to the platen which rotates in direction A.
Paper feed operation during printing
The platen presses the thermal paper against the thermal head with a constant force. When
the platen rotates in direction A, the thermal paper advances in direction B.
