Country Setup
The modem defaults to operation with US telephone networks. To operate the modem with
other country telephone networks, you must change the modem Country Code.
1. Tap Start - Settings.
2. Tab the Connections tab.
3. Tap the Connections icon on the Connections tab.
4. Tap the Modify button under the When needed, automatically connect to Work
using these settings: drop-down menu.
5. Tap SnapOnModem in the Modem tab. (The SnapOnModem connection is
created while installing eConnect.)
6. Tap the Next button, twice.
7. Edit Extra dial-string modem commands: text box to set country parameters. See
Country Setup
8. Tap the Finish button.
