stops swinging, record the value of the scale on
the front side of the white line of the platen.

At the front and rear of the printer, raise film a
and move it so that it aligns with the right side of
film b tightly. After film a stops swinging, check
the scale where the front side of the white line of
the platen passes.
If the value is different from the left side, proceed
to Step 16. If the value is the same, proceed to Step
17.
