A hard disk stores information on a nonremovable disk. In Model 10
systems, you can have up to three RZ23 hard disk drives, while in Model
20 systems, you can have up to five RZ23 hard disks in your system unit.
The RZ23 disk drive has a storage capacity of 104 Mb.
RZ23 disks are mounted internally in the system unit. Additional disks
can only be added if there is space available. To determine the number of
disks in your system, enter SHOW DEVICE at the console prompt (»»,
then press the RETURN. The resulting display lists the storage devices
mounted in your .system, the type of device, and its address on the SCSI
bus, along with other information. See Section 6.5 for further information
on the SHOW DEVICE command.
You can increase the hard disk storage capacity of your system further by
using RZ55 expansion boxes. See Chapter 4 to learn about these add-on
devices.
