If the optional DSH32-B communications module is installed, a further
eight terminals can be connected to the system. See Section C.2.1.1 for
information on connecting these terminals.
VAXserver 3100 systems support only one user. A terminal is normally
connected to
MMJ
port 1. However, other terminals may be connected to
MMJ
ports 2, or 3, or to the "modem" port (if the adapter is used).
2.10 How to Turn Off Your System
Follow the shutdown instructions in your operating system software
documentation.
Mter completing the system shutdown, turn off your
equipment in the following order:
1. Terminals
2. Optional equipment, such as printers or modems
3. Expansion boxes
4. System unit
