Transfer from Energy Saver to Bypass Mode
To transfer the critical load to Bypass mode:
NOTE The Energy Saver mode commands are displayed only if enabled at the factory or by an Eaton
Customer Service Engineer.
1.
On any UPS, press the

All of the UPSs transfer to Battery mode and then to Bypass mode.

Bypass status indicates ON. The UPM status indicates READY. The power
module remains on.

Transfer from Bypass to High Alert Mode
To transfer the critical load to High Alert mode:

All of the UPSs transfer to High Alert mode, but remain Online. After one hour
the UPSs transfer to Energy Saver mode and the critical load is immediately
supplied by the bypass source. If the bypass source is not available, the power
module remains on and an alarm sounds.
