5. Alarm trigger record channel setup: You can select channels to record for each
alarm input. In the sub menu, you can use [ENTER] or [EDIT] to enable the record
channel. ―×‖ means disable and ― means enable.
Note: In order to trigger the channel to record, the channel must be enabled in the
―Recording‖ menu. Refer to chapter 6.11 for details.
6. Schedule for alarm handle method: When a schedule is enabled, external
alarms will trigger a DVR response only during the scheduled on times.
7. Alarm handle method (alarm response): Alarm responses include: ―On Screen
Warning‖, ―Audible Warning‖, ―Upload to Center‖, ―Trigger Alarm Output‖ and ―Send
Email‖.
Note: If ―On Screen Warning‖ is enabled, an external alarm while viewing in the live mode
will cause the alarmed camera to display on the monitor. Multiple alarms will sequence on
the screen. When the external alarm clears the display will return to the previous viewing
screen.
8. Save setup: In ―Alarm in Handling‖ sub menu, press the ―Confirm‖ button to return
to the ―Alarms‖ menu. In ―Alarms‖ menu, press ―Confirm‖ button to save the
