Select the Modem to be connected to the PC (similar to the dialup network connection).
Input the telephone number connected to the DVR modem.
Input the username and password. They must be the same as the DVR PPP setup.
During the dialup connection, a message displays: ―verification of username and
password.‖ After successfully verification, the message will be given ―on process of
register in PC‖. The process is the same as the common dialup connection.
After successful dialup, the network will designate the ―remote IP‖ address to the PC.
For example: The set 192.1.0.1. User can Ping-link the assigned IP address through Ping
command, and can Ping-link DVR. Please refer to the following picture.
You can preview the image of 192.1.0.2 by using the client PC.

6.16 Exceptions Setup

Exceptions that can be handled at present include: Hard disk full, hard disk error, illegal
access, IP address conflict, network failure, NTSC/PAL difference and Video exception.
Enter the DVR ―Exceptions‖ menu in the main menu.
