OpenBoot Diagnostics

Like POST diagnostics, OpenBoot Diagnostics code is firmware-based and resides in
the boot PROM.
Sets Configuration Variables
Overrides service mode settings and uses
normal mode settings with the following
exceptions:
• diag-level = min if normal mode
value = off
• verbosity = min if normal mode
value = none

with the following exceptions:
• level = min if normal mode value of
