Removing the Guide Plates
The LSS guide plates will need to be removed for occasional
cleaning, replacement and when replacing a defective sensor.
• To remove the upper guide plate, just pull it straight out.
• To remove the lower guide plate, disengage the snap-lock
(accessible through an rectangular slot in the lower gable) using
for example a screwdriver and lift the outer end of the guide
plate. Then pull it out.
When cleaning the guide plates, use a soft cloth moistened with
isopropyl alcohol. Do not use any other type of chemicals. Be care-
ful not to scratch the windows.
