Cut the media

Introduction
When a media jam occurs, one of the steps to solve the problem is to cut the jammed
media. The printer operator panel displays the following message.
How to cut the media

Action
1 Use your right hand to push
down the metal plate that guides
the media. Use your left hand to
cut the media from left to right
with the knife behind the front
cover.
2 Again, push down the metal
plate that guides the media to
place the knife back into the
original position.
3 Follow the instructions on the
printer operator panel.
