Disconnect the fuel pump relay coupler

from the wire harness.

Connect the pocket tester (52 x 1) and
battery (12V) v o l t a g e t o t h e f u e l p u m p
relay coupler terminals.
Tester (+I Lead -+ Blue/Black @ Terminal
Tester (-1 Lead+ Red/White @ Terminal
Battery (+I Lead + Red/White @ Terminal
Battery (-) Lead+Blue/White
Check the relay for continuity.

Disconnect the fuel pump coupler from

the wire harness.
. Connect the battery voltage as shown.
Battery (+I Lead --f Blue/Black @Terminal
Battery (-1 Lead+ Black @ Terminal
the fuel pump operation.
CONTINUITY
OPERATIVE

FUEL SYSTEM -1

NO CONTINUITY
Replace fuel pump relay.
NO OPERATIVE
Replace fuel pump.
