When enabled (√), no Reverb effect is set on the microphone inputs. Press the function push button F9 again and Dry
is disabled.

This enables or disables the microphone inputs. If they are connected but they are not to be used it is a good rule to
disable the inputs to avoid disturbing noises.

REMOVING THE EFFECTS WHILE SPEAKING

One of the problems that are most frequently encountered by the musician is the need to remove the effects from the microphone signal when
speaking to the audience. The SD1 resolves this problem with the Dry On Stop function which, in other words enables the effects on the micro-
phone signals only when the Arranger or a Midi file are playing. When the Arranger and the Midi file stop, the SD1 disables the effects on the
microphones to restore them again as soon as the Arranger or the Midi file start playing again.
Proceed as follows to enable this function:
From the main page of the display press F3 Utility.
Move to the third page using the PAGE + push button.
Press F4 Micro repeatedly to switch from Normal (effects always enabled) to Dry On Stop (effects disabled when Song or Style stopped).
All the parameters described in this section can be saved in a Registration.
