Sound Load

Notwithstanding the possibility to load a sample or an audio file from the disk using the usual procedures, the SD1 offers a short-cut called
SOUND LOAD. Pressing the SOUND LOAD button on the SD1 activates the Master Folder function and displays the contents of folder 94 Sound.
The SD1 divides the audio files into two different categories:
- Wave: audio file in .WAV format, easy to recognise because all starting with letter "w"
- MSP: multisample files, easy to recognise because all starting with letter "m"
A group of audio files to be loaded with one single operation is called Sound Block, whereas samples processed by Ketron are called Instrument
and contain all the information required for their optimal use with the SD1.
The SD1 is able to load up to a maximum of eight Wave or MSP files and up to 128 Instruments into the RAM memory.
