Locking the Secondary Transfer Belt

The secondary transfer belt assembly is locked to the intermediate transfer drum on
which paper is placed before starting secondary transfer.
Normally, the secondary transfer belt assembly is away from the intermediate trans-
fer drum, and is locked to the holding transfer drum as needed.
The DC controller PCB causes the secondary transfer belt clutch drive signal (STGR-
CLD8) to go '0' as soon as paper reaches the secondary transfer belt assembly, turning
on the secondary transfer belt clutch (CL4), driving the secondary transfer belt cam, and
pushing up the secondary transfer belt assembly.
As a result, print paper is forced against the intermediate transfer drum, and the toner
is transferred for the intermediate transfer drum to the print paper.
When paper moves away and secondary transfer ends, the DC controller CPB turns
off the secondary transfer belt clutch (CL4) to move the secondary transfer belt away
from the intermediate transfer drum.
