The two CPUs on the DC controller PCB have the following functions:
1. D-CPU (IC201)
• System control for the printer unit.
• Video interface control (communication with the printer board PS/PCL).
2. M-CPU(IC202)
• Drive control for various loads (motor, solenoid).
• Control of the fixing heater.
• Control of the duplexing unit (accessory).
