7.5.4 Controlling Speakers and Microphones of Other Conference
Sites Through PC Console
Prerequisites
Only the chairman terminal can perform this operation.
Context
The chairman terminal can control the speakers and microphones of other conference
sites through the PC console.
Steps
1. On the PC console of the chairman, right-click a terminal in the conference and
choose the required menu to perform operations, as shown in the following figure.
The operations involve disabling microphone, disabling speaker, hanging up terminal,
and forcing terminal to exit.

2. Control the speaker and microphone of the terminal as required.
In the above figure, Close Mic and Close Speaker are used to control the microphone
and speaker of the terminal.

Example
For example, if you choose Close Mic, the microphone of the terminal is off. In this case,
Close Mic changes to Open Mic. After you choose Open Mic, the microphone of the
terminal is on again.
