There is a mark on the connecting rod big
end.

First install the plate bearings before the
connecting rod big end is installed.
Press the flange on the plate bearing into
the connecting rod groove.
Apply engine oil to the plate bearing on the
connecting rod.
Install the piston and connecting rod into the
cylinder with a piston installer.
• When fitting the piston, face the "IN"
mark on the piston head to intake valve
side.
• The more curve side on the connecting
rod big end should face to the engine
outside.
