The IP address specified is that of a Layer 3 interface of the local device. Otherwise, the system
prompts configuration failure.
The source interface specified must exist. Otherwise, the system prompts configuration failure.
Configuring the source interface of Telnet service packets equals configuring the IP address of this
interface as the source IP address of the Telnet service packets.
If a source IP address (or source interface) is specified, you need to make sure that the route
between the IP addresses (or interface) and the Telnet server is reachable.
