Power supply is necessary to move the cartridge to the 'replace-
ment' position.

Open the cover: the ink
cartridge moves to the
replacement position.
Keeps fingers away from the ink cartridge while it is moving to the
replacement position.

Press down on the back
of the ink cartridge to di-
sengage it.

Lift out the ink cartridge.

Remove the protecting
strips from the ink car-
tridge.
