6.2.2 Starting

Check that the generating set circuit breaker has triggered.
Danger
Connect the generating set battery
Turn the key switch to the ON position (without forcing it to the ON position), the ON lamp will light up (if the lamp does not light
up, check and replace the fuse if necessary)
Test the Alarm and Fault LEDs (menu 15 – TEST LAMPS)

If the engine is equipped with an air
preheating system, there is a delay
(adjustable) before the engine starts
(preheating activation period).
If the motor is not fitted with an air
preheating system or
preheating delay has elapsed, the
engine starts up (start of a cycle
comprising 3 attempts to start up the
engine).
