Paper Jamming

Paper Jamming in the Base
This occurs when envelopes are stopped in the transport mechanism of the Base.
Possible cause
• The item(s) is too thick.
• The size of the item(s) is incorrect.
• Envelopes are not properly stacked on
the Feeder Platform.

How to clear mail jammed in the Base

To clear mail jammed in the Base:
1. Pull the Release Handle underneath the Base.
2. Using your other hand, remove the jammed envelopes.
If the jammed envelopes can not be removed, perform the following:
