IS-5000 & IS-6000 PPI INSTALLATION

IS-5000

Please find attached your PPI USB key, please use the

following instructions to install your PPI onto your mailing

machine.

Ensure the machine is awake by checking the sleep/reset

key

is showing green.

1. From the "HOME SCREEN" press the "MENU" key.

2. Select the "SUPERVISOR" option from the list.

3. Enter the "SUPERVISOR PIN" (meter specific) and press

"OK".

4. From the SUPERVISOR menu select "OPTIONS &

UPDATES".

5. In the following screen select "PPI MANAGEMENT".

Page 2 6. In the “PPI MANAGEMENT” screen there will be 5 spaces for PPI’s, select “ADD NEW”. IS-6000 IS-5000 7. The machine will prompt you to “INSERT YOUR USB KEY”, insert the USB key into one of the free USB ports on either side of the base.
Page 3 9. The machine will display the file on the key, select it and press “OK”. IS-6000 IS-5000 10. When the download is successful, the machine will display a “PPI DOWNLOAD IS SUCCESSFUL” message, press “OK” and remove the USB key.
