Monitoring the Decoding

The decoder type and modes of operation depend on the hardware configuration and are
license dependant. The Decoding Main Menu is enabled only when the required hardware is
installed in the ProView 7000™ device.
The Decoding Status page comprises the following:
CC Errors – displays the number of errors counted by the continuity counter (CC).
Video Information – displays the status of the following video source parameters:
Video Codec
Aspect Ratio – 4x3, 16x9
Scan Type
Frame Rate (baud)
Audio 1 / 2 Information – displays the status of the Audio Codec and Audio Sample rate for
audio 1 (or audio 2) in kHz.
Service Information – displays the PID of the following decoded elementary streams:
Video
PCR
Audio 1 and 2
VBI
