1 1. Remove the lreezer evaporator
m o un t i n g s cre w s.
12. Remove the two styrofoam blocks from
the top corners of the treezer evapo-
rator.
These blocks m ust be reinstalled the
same way as they were before re-
m oval.
1 3 . P u l l t h e h e a t e x c h a n g e r t h r o u g h t h e
t u b e e n t r y o p e n i n g . P u l l c a r e f u l l y t o
avoid t ear ing the sponge roll on the
h eat exchanger.
1 4 . Rem ove the sponge roll fr om t he heat
e xchanger . Be caref ul because this
r oll m ust be installed on t he replac e-
m ent heat exchanger.
IMPORTANT: CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN
TO PROTECT THE COPPER -TO- ALUMI-
NUM WELDS, WET RAGS WRAPPED
AROUND THE TUBING AT THESE POINTS
WILL HELP PREVENT DAMAGE.
IF YOU SECURE THE FREEZER COIL AND
TUBING TO PREVENT MOVEMENT OF
THESE CONNECTIONS, YOUR POSS/B/I-
ITY OF DAMAGE IS FAR IESS BECAUSE
IT WILL RELIEVE THE STRA/N THAT
COULD CRACK A WELD.
