23. Make an offset 1/2" lrom the end of the
capillary t ube and insert into t he new
d r i e r .
24. Solder all connections. Application of
f l u x i s r e q u i r e d w h e n u s i n g s i l v e r
s o l d e r .
25. Visually check all solder ed joints for
leaks. Clean t he flux fr om the tubing.
Then evacuate and recharge the sys-
t em as inst ructed under "E vac uating
a n d R e c h a r g i n g . "
26. Assem ble all the part s in the r ev ers e
order of r emoval.
Test run the r ef rigerator t o mak e s ure
it is operat ing pr oper ly.
Pinch t he pr ocess tube and cut off the
ser vice valve. Solder t he joint and tes t
f or leaks.
This will allow easy pinch-of f after re-
char ging t he syst em.
Connect a hose t o t he servic e v alv e
and slow ly release t he press ur e, di-
r ecting t he hose out door s. Leav e the
v a l v e o p e n .
