REMOVING AND
REPLACING DOOR LINER
Th e p o l ys t yre n e i nn e r do o r l i n er an d th e
door gasket are mounted to the outer
panel by screws placed around the door
f l a n g e . T h e i n n e r d o o r l i n e r c o u l d b e
r ep l a c ed w i th o u t r e movi n g the d oo r fr o m
the cabinet. lf it is necessary to remove
th e d o o r l i n e r, p ro ce e d as fo l lo ws:
1 . Tu rn t h e co n t rol to th e o ff p o si ti o n.
2 . O p en t h e f re e zer d o o r an d re move the
screws and metal bracket from around
th e d o or fl a n g e ,
R e m ov e th e d o o r l in e r a n d tra n s fe r th e
gasket and metal bracket to the
r e pl a ee m e n t l i ne r. Ma ke su re th at lip
"A " o f t h e d oo r g a ske t
w ill be
sa n d w i c h e d b e tw e e n th e i n n er p a n e l
a n d t h e re t a i n e r str ip .

5. C lose and open the door several tim es
and check the gasket for pr oper s eal.
6. Car efully open the door by pull ing on
the middle section of the door panel.
NOTE: DO NOT PULL THE DOOR BY THE
H ANDLE OR TH E PA NEL WI LL SH IF T OU T
OF A LI GN MENT.
T ighten all corner scr ews snug tight.
C lose and open the door sever al
t im es. Recheck t he door gask et for
pr oper seal. lf it is good, tighten the
rest
of
the
screws.
Avoid
over tight ening t he screw s. Tighten the
scr ews until they are just snug, then
t ur n them clockwise anot her one- half
t u r n .
NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TWIST THE
DOOR PANEL AFTER ALL THE SCREWS
HAVE BE EN TI GHTE NED.
