Find a 318" to 1" ver tical COLD water
pipe near the ref riger ator. W ater
pressur e must be bet ween 20 and 120
P. S.l. Ver tical pipe is pref er able, but
a horizont al pipe w ill work.
lf a
hor izontal pipe is used, inst all t he
s addle valve on the top or the side of
the pipe, not on the bot tom. Tur n off
wat er supply and drain selected pipe.
lnst all t he saddle valve according to
manufact urer' s inst ructions included
with the valve.
Route the copper t ubing thr ough t he
floor, wall or sink cabinet to the saddle
valve location.
Form the excess
tubing int o a lar ge loop.
