REFRIGERATED
MEAT
KEEPER
The meat keeper has a shutter control to
a d j ust t h e a mo u n t o f a i r a d mitte d in to th e
pan interior. NOTE: Make sure meat
keeper is installed in the refrigerator so
the arm on meat keeper can come in
contact with baffle.
CHECKING OPERATION
M o s t p ro b l e ms co n ce rn in g th e m ea t
k e e pe r w i l l re s u l t f ro m i mp ro p e r op er a tio n
of the air shutter. However, don't overlook
the possibility that frozen packages may
have blocked the air inlet from the freezer
comp a rt m e n t .
REPLACING THE REFRIGERATED
MEAT KEEPER COVER
The plastic cover of the meat keeper can
withstand a great deal of stress but if it
becomes necessary to replace the part,
proceed as follows:

u n de r t h e f ro n t co rn e r o f d ra we r a nd
remove the plastic rivets.
4. Lift t he f ront of the draw er and pull i t
out of the shelf fr am e.
5 . The drawer is inst alled in the r ev ers e
order of removal.
NOTE: The meat keeper drawer can be
dismantled by r emoving plast ic pi ns fr om
the side of t he drawer and unsnap at the
back of the drawer. Now you have access
to the control bar.
REPLACING FRIGID MEAT
CONTROL
To r emove t he sliding baff le in t he fr igi d
m eat cont rol:
1. Lift off the m eat pan housi ng
assem bly.
2. Remove the air tunnel from the freezer
back by removing one r ivet at the
bottom.
3, Lif t the st yrofoam insulat ion to get at
the sliding baff le.
4. Slide t he baf fle out of the t unnel.
