REPLACING TUBING FROM THE WATER
VALVE TO THE ICE MAKER
1 . S h u t o f f th e e l e ctri ca l su p pl y to th e

3. Remove the water valve mounting
screw and disconnect the ice maker
s u p p l y t ub i n g f ro m th e w a ter va lve .
Drain the water into a container.
4. Remove the wire cover from the
c a bi ne t b a c k.
5 . Re m o ve t he t u b i ng cla mp s fro m the
c a bi ne t b ack.
6 . R e mo v e t he c l a mp wh i ch fa ste n s the
su p p l y t u b i n g t o the fi l l g ro mm e t
su p p l yi n g t h e i ce make r.

REPLACING TUBING FROM
WATER VALVE TO WATER
RESERVOIR
1 . S h ut o f f t he e l e ctrica l sup p l y to the
u n i t .
2 . Re m o ve t h e m a ch in e comp a rtm en t
c o v e r f r om t h e re ar o f th e un i t.
3 . Remove t he w ater valve m ounting
screw
and
disconnect
the
compression nut from the water valve
supplying t he chilled water fountai n.
4 . R em ove t he cr isper shelf.
5. From the back of the refrigerator,
disconnect t he com pression nut fr om
the bottom reservoir connection. Drain
the water into a container.
6 . Pull the comoression nut of f of the
s u p p l y t u b i n g a n d p u l l t h e s u p p l y
tubing f r om the back of the unit
through the bott om . (To pull new
tubing, t ie t o the old and pull with old
t u b i n g . )
7 . Install the r eplacement tubing in the
reverse order of removal.
8. Turn on the electrical and water
supply and activat e t he chilled w ater
d ispenser . D raw six or seven glass es
of water to remove any trapped air in
the syst em. C heck all f itt ings for leak s.
REPLACING THE TUBING FROM THE
RESERVOIR TO THE FOUNTAIN
T he supply t ubing f rom the reser voir t o the
fo u nt ain is composed of t wo sect ions and
e xtends f rom:
1 . Reservoir t o a connect ion at the
bot tom of the cabinet behind t he r ight
s i d e o f t h e g r i l l e .
2 . Then, f rom the connect ion behing the
g r i l l e t o t h e f o u n t a i n .
