3. Remove two (2) screws to remove
switch from bracket.
REPLACING THE
DASH-POT
The dash-pot piston is drawn forward
when the ice actuator arm is depressed
a n d t he re su l t i n g va cu um ca u se s the
s p ri n g to s l ow l y d ra w th e a ctua to r a r m
back to the start position.

Remove the dash-pot piston from
m ount ing bracket by removing t ru- arc
r ing and spring washer.
Remove piston arm by prying clip off.
Replace the dash-pot in the reverse
order of removal.
REPLACING THE SWITCH
ASSEMBLY
Th e sw it ch assembly includes ice and
water activating switches, fountain light
switch, light holder socket and on cert ain
models a
child-proof safety switch
( e le ctr ical or mechanical).
For easy removal of the switches, perform
Ste ps 1 t hrough 5 of rem oving t he "lce And
W ate r Fount ain Assembly". This w il l
expose the switches for removal.
NOTE: ALWAYS MAKE SURE SWITCH IS
lN "lC E" P OSIT ION when replaci ng
e scutheon.
