1 1 . P i n c h t h e p r o c e s s t u b e a n d c u t t h e
service valve off t he t ubing. Solder the
joint and check f or leaks.

2 . I nstall a ser vice valve on the proc es s
t ube and vent the r efrigerant outsi de.
3 . U nsolder t he yoder loop t ubing at
p o i n t s " A " a n d " 8 " . ( s e e d r a w i n g ) .
4 . C r i m p a n d s o l d e r t h e y o d e r t u b i n g a t
p o i n t " A " .
5 . Solder t he special access fi tting to
t u b e r e m o v e d a t p o i n t " 8 " .
6. Pr essur ize the system to 250 lbs . w ith
the dry nitr ogen. Leak t est the j oint
u s i n g a s o a p s o l u t i o n .
7. Check the pressure gauge. l f the
pressure decreases, a leak ex is ts . l t
may be necessar y to allow up to 24
hour s to pass in or der to deter mine
this. lf a leak does not exist , r econnec t
the tubing, evacuate and rechar ge the
system.
lf t he yoder loop is leaking, a spec ial ki t
c an be or dered for installing a r es is tanc e
h eat er wire. Com plete instr uctions are
included wit h the kit. lt is not nec ess ar y
to leave the r efrigerant inoper ativ e w hil e
you order t he kit. Y ou should rec onnect
the syst em excluding t he yoder loop.
To exclude t he yoder loop, connec t c om-
p ressor discharge line dir ect ly t o c onden-
s e r b y c o n n e c t i n g t h e t u b i n g a t p o i n t " A "
t o p o i n t " 8 " ,
